Many people today, at a certain age may remember this series way back then.Recently while shopping I came across the book 'Colditz' remember the series drew my curiosity to the book, at the intended purchase...Colditz, Prisoners of the Castle, by Ben MacIntyre, has been a great read and an eye opener to not just life as prisoner, but also of the of the prisoner guards and their leadership, in a game of cat and mouse, in the endeavor of outwitting each other.Under such circumstances the trials and errors of daily comprised of many things apart from the many different ways of planning an. escape. Many ingenious and creative plans were made, and Ben MacIntyre give a brilliant analysis of the characters.This is a good read, especially for those interested in World War II. And a whose who of the prisoners of war. There is so much about this book which is very informative, yet better to read it for yourself.Price wise, this book is well worth the money, all in all, as a rating 9/10
